Project Description
Wyoming Stargazing, through Samuel Singer, has proposed amendments related to exterior string lighting. The proposal is to remove the prohibition on string lighting outside of the winter-time exemption (currently November 15 - January 10) and create year-round standards for residential and non-residential use of string lighting, in addition to retaining a winter-time exemption.
Public Hearing Process
This amendment to the LDRs is scheduled to go before the Planning Commission on October 13, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. and the Board of County Commissioners on November 18, 2025 at 9:00 a.m. The agendas for these hearings will be posted closer to the hearing dates.
