April 12, 2022: Board of County Commissioners Approves Changes
At the April 12, 2022 BCC hearing, the Board voted to approve amendments to 5.1.3 Wild Animal Standards and remove 5.2.2. Bear Conflict Area Standards, moving bear-specific language to 5.1.3. The BCC requested that the Bear-Resistant Trash Containers Requirement begin on July 1, 2022 and that enforcement begin in November of 2022 to allow reasonable time for replacement of cans.

November 10, 2021: Draft LDR Amendments Available for Public Review
County Planning Staff has produced draft LDR text amendments (PDF) related to wild animal feeding and bear conflict areas. These proposed changes are scheduled to be presented to the Teton County Planning Commission on Monday, December 13, 2021.
